Monday Mo Co is a high-end motorcycle clothing and lifestyle brand. Founded in 2012, the brand also has a sister company, Mutt Motorcycles, dedicated to the design and build of bespoke motorbikes. adaptable were tasked with building a new Shopify store which better presented the expanding range of high-end products Monday Mo Co retails. As the brand had grown since launching, their existing site was starting to look dated and limited content creation.
As part of our eCommerce brief, we set some import goals which consisted of: Increasing average order value, Improving the site speed/performance, specifically handheld devices and lead the users on a journey through product stories.
The Design Process
The brand has already established a blog visual identity in its Birmingham retail store. Our approach was to draw inspiration from this and then translate it into the user interface, embracing the motorcycling culture.
The end result has provided Monday Mo Co with a flexible, content rich eCommerce store, powered by Shopify. Using Shopify’s platform means that Monday Mo Co has benefited from the connected point of sale app in their retail store. This removes any manual data inputting and helps to gather deeper customer insight around buying habits.
