Our client base is across the UK and US, working with forward-thinking brands in the property, charity and tech spaces – not one project is ever the same and every day brings exciting new challenges for us to solve.

We are seeking an experienced React Native Developer to join us as a contractor for a period of 3 to 5 months starting in January 2024. Your primary responsibility will be to develop a cross-platform mobile application for Android and iOS using React Native. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful approval of the app on the respective app stores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mobile App Development: Collaborate with the development team to design and build a feature-rich, cross-platform mobile application using React Native.
  • UI/UX Implementation: Work closely with our UI/UX designers to ensure a seamless and visually appealing user experience.
  • Integration: Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance the app’s functionality.
  • Performance Optimisation: Identify and resolve performance issues and bottlenecks to ensure smooth and responsive app performance.
  • Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing to identify and fix bugs and ensure the app works flawlessly on both Android and iOS platforms.
  • Publishing: Manage the app submission process on Google Play Store and Apple App Store, following their guidelines and requirements.
  • Code Quality: Maintain high-quality coding standards and adhere to best practices
  • Documentation: Document code and development processes to facilitate collaboration and knowledge transfer.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in React Native app development for both Android and iOS platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript and React, along with the ability to write clean, maintainable code.
  • Familiarity with mobile app deployment processes on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
  • Experience in working with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with version control systems.
