Since we launched our first Shopify store for P&Co, we’ve been fans of Shopify’s approach to eCommerce. Offering a fully integrated platform that can connect to a variety of hardware and software has made it our go to platform for most of our eCommerce projects.
Here are some of the reasons why we feel Shopify can enhance our projects:
Secure, Robust Checkout
Shopify’s self-hosted checkout has bank grade security and is certified level 1 PCI compliant meaning your customers card data is handled in a secure environment and constantly updated and managed by Shopify’s security team.
Detailed Performance Analytics
With Shopify’s advanced Google Analytics integration, each transaction automatically connects to Googles’s web usage data allowing customer purchases and shopping carts to be tracked and financially monitored.
Simple, yet effective CRM / CMS
The interface design of the CMS/CRM is probably one of the best on the market at the moment. It’s easy to navigate and makes managing a store and sourcing data a pleasurable task.
There’s a useful App
If you need to check store activity on the go, then Shopify’s hefty app is only a touch away. The app gives you access to your store’s dashboard, payments, orders, products and customer data.
Through Shopify apps our clients have been able to connect to large parcel delivery companies, helping to streamline all back office/offline handling.
Since using Shopify, we’ve never experienced any down time. With unlimited bandwidth and a CDN (Content Delivery Network) included with all plans, hosting is hard to rival and super fast.
Along with the online platform and store, POS systems can be installed in physical store environments. Connecting stock levels and processing of payments through Shopify’s app means that online and in-store operations can run in harmony with each other.
