Practising what we preach, version 8.0

We are always advising our clients to never stand still, as your website is not “one and done”. The aim should be for it to effortlessly grow and evolve to better reflect your business, values and clearly communicate how a product/service can solve your challenges.
So it’s only right that we hold ourselves to the same standards. The Adaptable website is currently on its 8th iteration in 13 years (that’s a new one every 1.6 years!), and while it’s a running joke internally that we’re never happy with it, making sure it’s doing the job it should be is an ongoing undertaking.
We’ve recently launched what we’ll call Adaptable 8.0 – a refresh, but not a complete rebuild of our own site. To shine a light on our process, and how we approach things, we thought we’d take you behind the scenes of the whats, whys and hows.
So what’s new?
The main one, our proposition – over the past few years, we’ve worked mainly on headless website projects and digital products. It’s where we feel we’ve added the most value across a range of sectors. Due to all this experience, we’ve decided to hone in on these two key offerings to help solve our clients’ challenges of today and tomorrow.
It doesn’t stop there, though. AI’s influence is growing in every industry, and whilst we’ve adopted a range of automated tools and processes internally, we’re now taking that work and helping our clients to make their workflows smarter.
Alongside our proposition changes, the biggest difference is the overall look and feel. Our design team have created:
- An updated UI and navigation – simplifying how our service pages are presented and found via our top-level menu.
- Typography – a more up-to-date and less “heavy” look.
- Call-to-actions and forms – making starting a project with us that much easier.
- Added new blocks – showcasing Google reviews and unlocking other elements.
- New visual elements – like our GraphQL header, bringing the homepage to life.
If you’re interested in launching a future-ready digital experience, get in touch – we’d love to get your thoughts on our new look too.
