Telling the story

Now led by sisters Sarah and Caroline following a brand refresh that honours their father’s legacy, the new site needed to embody Verity & Co’s core values: family-first, crafted with care and designed to last.

Rather than leaning into a corporate homebuilder aesthetic, we designed an experience that feels classic but contemporary with a human touch, including custom hand-drawn icons, bespoke elements, and calligraphic typography.

Traditional but tech-led

Verity & Co’s brand may be rooted in tradition, but next-gen tech drives their website. We built the site in a headless environment, ensuring improved performance even with media-rich content, increased flexibility and scalability. The website also integrates with key business software to streamline time-consuming processes.

 

Selling more off-plan

A common challenge for housebuilders in today’s property market is selling off-plan. Immersive content, including stunning imagery, video, CGI, virtual tours and interactive siteplans, helps buyers visualise their home before it’s been built. We also focused on creating stronger calls-to-action, including a sticky footer banner which means booking a personal visit is readily accessible.

Content flexibility with confidence

A key driver for this project was escaping their previous, dated platform and setup which was difficult to use and almost had “too much” flexibility in page templates – creating inconsistency across the site. The bank of flexible components enables them to create engaging custom pages that tell the story of their purpose and values whilst remaining on-brand.

SEO & Content strategy

In order to protect and build on Verity & Co’s existing organic visibility and traffic, we undertook SEO audits pre and post-launch. This involved looking at current performance, content landscape and competitors to advise on website structure and content strategy.

As part of this process, we looked at increasing visibility for keywords related to geographic areas, maintaining authority built for past developments, and blending optimisation efforts with more natural copy that matched their brand tone of voice. We also ensured that URLs from the previous site were mapped and seamlessly redirected to the new domain.

Smart search

Efficient and intuitive smart search starts the buyer journey off right, allowing users to quickly search by postcode, area, or current location, right from the homepage.

Interactive site plans

Interactive site plans enable users to get a visual representation of the development they’re considering and the location of specific plots – helping the user journey and the ultimate goal of selling more offplan.

Housebuilder Pro

Integration with Housebuilder Pro means plots are pulled automatically onto the site, along with live pricing and availability, streamlining processes and improving user experience.
