This week has seen the team work across brand identity & eCommerce, with a few new projects in the pipeline.
We were approached to craft a simple, yet striking brand identity for Propp — an automated business funding system for vendors, resellers, manufacturers & suppliers. We’ve also been working on a new eCommerce site for a motorcycle clothing & lifestyle store!
We crafted a clean & bold logotype for Propp, teamed up with a vibrant gradient-led colour palette to stand out from competitors. You can have a look at the logo design process above, with a snapshot of the initial concepts & design development.
An over-shoulder view for the eCommerce project, you can see how we work from wireframes to initial user interface concepts. We constantly analyse & refine our approach, printing out multiple concepts for the team to step back, critique & improve our work.
I’ve been getting really stuck into developing the user interface design for the eCommerce project this week, exploring multiple layouts to help improve conversions across the site.
We’ve also been getting really visual with the ‘single product’ pages. Utilising product photography to really tell a story & provide a background to the products on the store.
Quote of the week — Jennifer Aldrich, Invision:
“Good Designers Take Orders & Hand Over Exactly What A Client Wants. Great Designers Dive Deep To Uncover What A Client Actually Needs.”
We’re not here to just push pixels, we’re here to solve problems. Whether that’s to increase revenue, conversion rates, or signups, our work has valid reasons behind it to improve your business & meet your goals.
This quote from Jennifer really hit home, as we feel our best work is produced when we are able to collaborate with our clients & really uncover the project objectives.
We’ve reached sign off on the eCommerce store design, with the last few pages being built as I’m writing this. We’re looking forward to launching the new site next week & presenting the full case study soon!
