Founded in 1901, Dr Martens is an iconic British footwear and clothing brand that is exported globally. Dr Martens approached adaptable to help them create a dedicated ‘brand history’ section for their website, highlighting their 100+ years of heritage & product development. This multi-device experience was to be integrated into the brand’s e-commerce website.
Using the large bank of historical image assets, we constructed a responsive timeline with interactive ‘year by year’ navigation, encouraging users to leisurely browse between the decades. Combing subtle parallax animation with bold web typography, the site allows users to learn more about the brand they love, promoting various featured products along the way.
